A Different Approach
Conseqta Technology's approach to digital transformation focuses on bringing modern software development tools, technologies, and practices pioneered by the tech industry to deliver platforms and systems engineered for the future. Platforms and systems of the future will need to be built on a back-bone of streaming data and event-driven architectures in order to accommodate increasing data volume and data velocity in the rapidly expanding digital era.
Additionally, platforms and systems engineered for the future will need to be built with tools and technologies that embrace change and adaptation to reduce the need for expensive sunset and migration projects. Conseqta Technology's digital transformation is about engineering solutions that are built to adapt, scale, and perform on demand.

Accelerating 100% Paperless Transformation
Conseqta Technology transformed one client's journey towards a 100% paperless processing goal for travel expense forms. Influenced by the Paperwork Reduction Act, our client had worked for years to try to achieve full paperless processing. Limitations stemming from legacy technologies, platforms, and processes slowed progress and after roughly ten years of work, the client and previous software implementers were only able to achieve roughly 30% paperless processing.
When Conseqta Technology began working with the client, we brought our approach to digital transformation and began our contract with platform re-engineering and process optimization to accelerate delivery. The modern application built on top of the new platform was able to achieve 100% paperless processing (i.e. the remaining 70%) in one additional year.

Engineering Future-Oriented Platform Infrastructure
Conseqta Technology transformed one client's platform modernization efforts by undertaking a platform re-engineering project to create a future-oriented platform and infrastructure backbone for their financial system. The client's previous platform featured a monolithic application architecture and mainframe system for their general ledger. The monolithic web application was based on a customized COTS (commercial off-the-shelf) implementation that was difficult to adapt and enhance along with changing business needs.
When Conseqta Technology began working with the client, we focused on a fundamental re-engineering of the client platform to create a future-oriented architecture that can grow, expand, and adapt to the client's evolving needs over time. Among other benefits, the new platform, built on Kubernetes, allowed for a significant reduction in server footprint. For one application alone, the new platform enabled decommissioning of 10 production servers, and eliminating licenses, totaling roughly $3 million in savings over 3 years.

Transforming Application Technology Stack
Conseqta Technology transformed one client's application technology stack in order to use modern tools and technologies pioneered by the tech industry to solve some of the most advanced system engineering challenges in the modern era. The client's previous technology featured a monolithic web application based on a customized COTS (commercial off-the-shelf) implementation that was difficult to adapt and enhance along with changing business needs. The monolithic application provided inflexible technology options for new development and a limited feature set with which to work
When Conseqta Technology began working with the client, we focused on a fundamental overhaul of the application technology stack, rebuilding the application using a microservice architecture. Conseqta Technology included tools like DevSecOps technologies for operational intelligence and optimized deployments, tools to enable Google-like enterprise search within applications, tools for creating event processing queues for event-driven systems, and new database technologies that are cloud-native and resolve scalability issues inherent in legacy RDBMS technologies. This new application technology stack has completely re-written the rules for how the system can be built, enhanced, and monitored going forward giving the client the adaptability it needs to keep pace with an increasingly dynamic world.

Optimizing IT Operations
Conseqta Technology transformed one client's IT operation's processes and capabilities through the introduction of new tools and technologies in the application technology stack. The client's previous IT operation's processes were characterized by: lengthier, more risky deployments that included system downtime; lack of visibility into code quality and full version controls over code and images; and incomplete monitoring tools to understand whole-system performance and status.
When Conseqta Technology began working with the client, we focused on incorporating and integrating tools and technologies to provide operational intelligence, optimize deployments, and overall improve the efficiency of operations support. The DevSecOps tools and technologies incorporated into the overall solution provided overall support for deployments and monitoring. The client, as a result, has never-before-seen levels of transparency and visibility into the real-time performance of their system, as well as code quality to keep us, the contractor, accountable for our delivery quality. Conseqta Technology firmly believes this transparency is fair and right to provide for our clients.
